Rhyme University works with U.S. Vets Inc to Hire
Veterans
March 6, 2012 - Rhyme University is working with U.S. VETS Inc.
(www.usvetsinc.org) in an effort to hire military veterans to
help
staff our call center for this season. U.S. VETS is the nation’s
largest non-profit provider of services to military veterans
facing challenges in their transition to civilian life, a cause
we are proud to support.

The Rhyme University dream of establishing a company dedicated to
providing the highest quality graduation products for young
children at the most affordable prices did, indeed, begin with a
teacher’s inspiration back in 1954. To read more about our story

Since then we’ve been providing quality graduation products that
help children and their families celebrate their scholastic
accomplishments with a sense of pride while creating memories
that last a lifetime at an affordable price.
Looking back over our four decades of service there are many
things we have to be proud of. In addition to our customers
allowing us to provide them with superior customer service and
products for tens of thousands of graduations we’ve;

Rhyme University Donates to
Homeless Women and Children Shelter
Recent Press Release
Rhyme University of Long Beach, CA, a manufacturer of preschool
and kindergarten graduation caps and gowns, recently donated over
2,400 new t-shirts and sweatshirts to a local homeless shelter
for women and children. “We understand the importance of giving
back and helping those in need and thanks to our customers we
were in a position to help. Collette’s Children Home helps women
and children who
might not normally receive it and we’re proud to
support their efforts.” said a Rhyme University Vice President.
“These sweatshirts will help keep women and
children warm during the winter months as well as give them
something new to wear for the holidays and as they look for
work.”
T-shirts and Sweatshirts were delivered to Colette’s Children
Home a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization in Huntington Beach, CA
before Thanksgiving. For over 10 years Colette’s has offered
shelter and supportive services to homeless women and children in
an area with one of the highest rate of homelessness per capita
in the nation. Over 70% of the homeless population here are
families with children and most of these are single parent
households. Women entering the program are assigned Case
Managers and provided with supportive services to assist them
with obtaining employment, budgeting, and parenting.
The following was written by the child of a mother helped through
one of the programs offered by Colette’s. “As you have probably
heard, we are graduating today. I wanted to write and tell you
how much my mother and I appreciate all your love, support, and
assistance. You have helped us in so many ways. We will ALWAYS
remember your kindness with eternal gratitude. You all are like
family now and we really love all of you. We will stay in touch,
drop in when possible, and of course return for the Christmas
party. With oceans of love,”

Rhyme University Donates to
Boys & Girls Club
Recent Press Release
On Monday April 11, 2011 Rhyme University made a charitable
donation of assorted clothing to the children in attendance at
the Eastman Boys & Girls Club located at 700
East Del Amo Boulevard in Long Beach, California. There were
approximately 180 boys and girls in attendance from a variety of
socioeconomic backgrounds and family
statuses.
A representative from Rhyme University spoke to the children in
attendance about the importance of education. The children were
encouraged to aspire towards completing
their education in order to ensure that they get high paying jobs
and live fulfilling lives.
Rhyme University is a local manufacturer of High School,
Preschool and Kindergarten graduation caps, graduation gowns,
graduation tassels and other graduation supplies.
Rhyme University encourages students of all ages to complete
their educational programs in order to live fuller more
fulfilling lives. According to the L.A. times the
high school drop out rate is 34.9% in California. "We believe
that by introducing younger students to the idea of a graduation
ceremony earlier on we can help plant the
seed of graduating from a higher level of education later on "
